This flute features a solid silver headjoint, body, footjoint, silver plated keys, gold plated lip plate, open hole, inline G, and B foot with gizmo. This flute has been very well maintained and was just adjusted and cleaned prior to being consigned, and it shows. There is no tarnish on the keys or body, no dents, dings, or scratches are to be found, and the pads are quite new looking and seal well. There is no plating wear on the keys and the gold plating on the lip plate looks great.

This flute is in excellent mechanical and physical condition and will provide its new owner with many years of reliable service. The J1 style headjoint, according to Gemeinhardt, “offers the least resistance of any of their cuts and provides extremely quick response in the low register while retaining a free-blowing high register.” This flute comes with a French style case and an attractive Gemeinhardt leather case cover.
