These piccolos are handcrafted by accomplished artisans and have bodies of top grade grenadilla. The YPC-81 features a headjoint of grenadilla.

Ribbed key post construction results in greater body strength and accurate key action and a split E mechanism produces a clearer and more responsive high E. The YPC-81 additional features undercut tone holes, which improves intonation and response due to smoother airflow throughout the instrument. Double bladder pads provide long life and better seating.
